Warmth to Ukrainian families

Russian terror against Ukrainian civilians does not subside and even intensifies.
This winter turned out to be a real test for Ukrainian families not only because of severe frosts, but also because of the lack of heat, electricity and water in their homes.
In Kyiv alone, more than a million people were left without heating due to thermal power plants destroyed by Russian missiles and drones.

The Mission of Kindness charity project has brought together partners to support and touch the hearts of 100 Ukrainian families with 500 people.

Food, warm blankets, blankets, thermoses — all this was purchased and formed by the project team. But all this became possible thanks to the support of our friends from the Daar Foundation and their representative office in Ukraine — the Dar Charitable Foundation. Swedish partners in the organization of #HoppetsStjärnaSverige, a Christian community from Germany and many caring Ukrainians also joined the action.

Good deeds are a manifestation of sacrifice: time, effort, finances, other resources, even sleep.
But when you see people’s grateful eyes and hear their sincere words of gratitude, you understand that for them these are not just food or warm clothes, but a manifestation of our care and attention to their difficult situation. Then you feel: your efforts are not in vain.

We are once again convinced that good defeats evil, warmth defeats cold, and unity makes the impossible possible.
The people who received help were pleasantly surprised by how many products we put in bags.

At the end of the action, we handed over large boxes of noodles to the local point of invincibility. Hot soup will come in handy for many residents of the area who visit the center every day to warm up and eat a hot dish.

After the “Mission of Kindness” campaign, one woman baked goodies for us. During the war, she lost her husband and son. We became close people to her, and she wanted to thank us with kindness. Because good is always multiplied.

“In doing good, let us not lose enthusiasm, for in due time we shall reap if we do not faint” is a beautiful piece of Bible counsel.
