Різдвяне вітання від служителів християнських церков України

Christmas greetings from the leaders of the Christian Churches of Ukraine

“Because a child was born unto us, a Son was given to us. The power is on His shoulders, and they will give Him a name: Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father, Lord of Peace.” (Isaiah 9:5)

Today, in times of great trials for our people, these words from the Bible take on a special depth. When the world around us is filled with the pain of loss, injustice, and anxiety, we can find comfort, strength, and help in Him who is the eternal and mighty God!

Jesus Christ did not come into this world in times of peace, but to become Savior in the midst of chaos and Deliverer for those enslaved by fear.

Today, the hearts of many Ukrainians are burdened with suffering and grief. The ongoing war and uncertainty try to sow despair and despair, but it is at this time that it is important to put our hope in God.

Pain, loss and chaos try to break us, but the light of the Nativity of Christ reminds us that darkness is temporary, and God’s victory is eternal.
The history of salvation is replete with the testimonies of men of faith who, trusting in the Almighty, have passed through the fire of trials and seen the manifestation of God’s power where human hope has faded.

So let us not let circumstances drown out the voice of faith in our hearts, and let us remember His promise: “I have overcome the world.” This means that the last word will always be God’s, not evil’s.

On these Christmas days, we continue to unite in prayer for Ukraine. We ask for protection for our heroic soldiers, healing for wounded souls and bodies, and a just and lasting peace for our land.

We believe that the Lord stands next to us today, helping us!

We embrace with prayer every defender, every family and everyone who has lost their home or loved ones. We ask the Lord for spiritual and material revival for our country, a return to life in dignity and freedom.

We wish you to feel the joy of Christmas, despite all the worries. May God’s peace reign in your hearts, which is higher than all understanding!

Christ is born!
Let us praise Him!
