After the Prayer Breakfast under the patronage of the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy gave an exclusive interview to the Christian TV channel TBN.
The famous American journalist Joel Rosenberg came to Ukraine to conduct this conversation and see with his own eyes what is happening in the country.
“I came to Ukraine for two reasons. Firstly, because the largest land war in Europe since World War II, since the Holocaust, is taking place here. I wanted to see it with my own eyes.
Secondly, I received a personal invitation from the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy to meet with him and talk about the most important issues.

Since February 24, 2022, that is, for more than three and a half years, the Russians, led by the crazy Vladimir Putin, whom I call the Kremlin’s war criminal, have been waging an aggressive war against Ukraine. And they cause not only military damage. These are not only terrible hostilities that continue and have reached a dead end in many directions. There is something else: Putin and his troops are committing real war crimes.
During this time, about 90,000 cases of abuse of Ukrainian civilians by Russian soldiers were registered. Christian leaders, heads of nonprofit organizations, and government officials, including Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, tell me that Russia has abducted approximately 20 thousand Ukrainian children. They were taken out of the occupied territories of Eastern Ukraine, in particular from Donbas, and transported to Russia. No one knows where they are. But some intelligence reports and non-profit organizations report that these children are subjected to physical and psychological violence and even sold for adoption in Russia and other countries.

I came here to talk about the biggest war going on in the world today — a war that the West could lose if it does not support Ukraine. If the United States, NATO and other countries do not side with Ukraine, support it and help it win, the consequences will be catastrophic. If Russia, if Vladimir Putin is allowed to invade Ukraine, Russia will suddenly find itself on the border with nine NATO countries. And Putin not only warned, but also boasted that he planned to invade other states as soon as he captured Ukraine.
I had the opportunity to talk with President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy about his meetings with Donald Trump, European leaders, NATO leaders, and what Trump told him behind closed doors — about his conversations with Putin.
I also wanted to discuss with Zelenskyy the topic of the persecution of Christians in Ukraine — not by the authorities, but by Putin. We talked about churches that were destroyed, attacked, destroyed, about Ukrainian pastors and priests who were killed, tortured, imprisoned or who went missing.
In the West, in particular, people like Tucker Carlson accuse Zelensky of persecuting the church. But I hear the exact opposite here — and not only from Zelensky, but also from Ukrainian Christian leaders.”

The interview was filmed and prepared for the broadcast by the team of the Ukrainian channel TBN UA.
